The quick and detailed assessments use answers supplied by the user to generate an indicative score, risk rating and general recommendations. The output is automated and based on a limited set of controls.

2. What the assessment is not

The assessment is not:

• a cybersecurity audit, penetration test, vulnerability scan or technical inspection;
• a certification, accreditation or compliance opinion;
• legal, regulatory, insurance or financial advice;
• a substitute for professional review of your systems and circumstances; or
• a guarantee that incidents, loss or unauthorised access will not occur.

3. Accuracy depends on your answers

Results depend on the accuracy, completeness and interpretation of the answers entered. Controls can also change after an assessment. Important risks may exist outside the questions asked, and a high score does not establish that all systems or practices are effective.

4. No active testing

The website assessment does not connect to, scan, monitor or test your network, devices, cloud services or accounts. No technical evidence is validated unless Sprint Networks separately agrees to perform professional services under a written engagement.

5. Use of results

Use the result as a starting point for prioritisation and discussion. Before relying on it for a major decision, compliance statement, insurance application or security representation, obtain an appropriately scoped professional assessment.

6. Urgent incidents

Do not rely on the website assessment during an active or suspected security incident. Isolate affected systems where safe, preserve evidence and contact your internal incident team or a qualified incident-response provider promptly. If there is an immediate threat to people or property, contact the appropriate emergency service.

7. Information handling

Assessment calculations occur in your browser and answers are not automatically transmitted to Sprint Networks. If you choose to email results or discuss them with us, that communication is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability and non-excludable rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sprint Networks is not responsible for loss caused by treating an indicative assessment as a complete security review. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
